of Blasphemas 2 Release Date has appeared online, and a seemingly early post lists dates for The Game Kitchen and Team17’s Metroidvania sequel.
When is the Blasphemous II release date?
Blasphemous 2’s release date is set for August 24, 2023, according to a trailer that has appeared on the PlayStation Store (via Gematsu). The trailer isn’t out online yet, but it’s available on consoles for those looking into the game.
The release date is displayed at the end of the trailer. It’s unclear if the trailer was uploaded a little early, but fans should be able to return to the world of Custodia without having to wait long.
Originally released in 2019, Blasphemous is a Metroidvania action-adventure that puts players in control of Pentinent One, a silent knight who travels the land and defeats a variety of enemies. The game has received several free updates, and the final chapter of the story, ‘Wounds of Evenide’, was released in his December 2021.
A sequel was also announced in 2021, but we didn’t get a glimpse of what the game would be like until it was unveiled at Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase earlier this year. At this time, it’s unclear exactly on which platforms the sequel will be available, but the original game was available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
