A heavy metal and visceral gore-filled FPS, Trepang2 is coming to Xbox Series X|S later this year, giving us weapons and superhuman powers to wreak carnage beyond measure.
Following its launch on Steam earlier this week, developer Trepang Studios and publisher Team17 announced that Trepang2 will be coming to Xbox Series X|S later this year. Take a look at the studio’s debut gore-filled, bullet-filled first-person shooter in the trailer below.

“A spiritual successor to the fast-paced, over-the-top first-person shooters of the mid-2000s, Trepang2 delivers intense first-person gun-fu gameplay and a devastating heavy metal soundtrack as players embark on their adventures. It combines: a supernatural journey of death, destruction and corporate intrigue.”
In Trepang 2, a soldier who escaped from a government dark site has superhuman abilities. Trepang2’s campaign and horde modes let you master ranged and melee weapons while slaughtering “thousands of highly trained Special Forces personnel, cultists, and otherworldly enemies.” Additional abilities allow you to use superhuman powers to do even more destruction, including transparency, time distortion, otherworldly strength, and superhuman speed.
