Welcome to another edition of Box Art Brawl!
Before we get into this week’s showdown, let’s take a quick look back at the last time we asked you to choose your favorite design from two regional cover art options for Beyond Good and Evil. This was a slightly closer match than what we’ve seen in recent weeks, but in the end, the European cover came out on top with 59% of the votes for him, and North America with 41% of the vote for him.
I had a fair amount of Zelda on my mind this week (I can’t imagine why), so I decided to bring the series to its best by combining two different covers of 2007’s The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. I decided to put it front and center. .
This DS title has proven to be a divisive one for the series, with many placing it at the bottom of their Zelda rankings. Granted, this may not be one of his best Link moments, but the Wind Waker sequel still holds a special place in our hearts. And we should all enjoy the chance to watch Toon Link whenever we get the chance.
As for the cover art, this week we have an interesting mix of European and Japanese designs that overlap closely in contrast to what is used in North America. Combining similarities leaves a good old duel.
Let’s meet this week’s competitors.
