Aloy’s journey continues in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores — an expansion as the ferocious Nora hunter pursues sinister threats in the pristine wilderness of far-future volcanic Los Angeles, ravaged by intense tectonic activity. Pre-orders for Burning Shores, which launches on PlayStation 5 consoles on April 19, 2023, are available today.
Pre-ordering gives players access to the following digital bonuses:
- Blacktide Dye Outfit (available at the first dye merchant)
- Blacktide Sharpshot Bow (available from the first merchant in Burning Shores)
The story picks up Aloy’s story right where Horizon Forbidden West left off. Therefore, to enter Burning Shores, you must complete the main Horizon Forbidden West quest (up to the last quest, Singularity). Following the events of Singularity, she receives a call through her Focus to kick off her DLC.
Aloy will then be able to travel to a dangerous new region south of the Tenax Clan Lands. There, players can experience an engaging new story featuring new characters, machines, and adventures. More details will be announced in the near future.
