Now that C-Smash VRS has taken off on PlayStation VR2, players around the world are beginning to discover its many cosmic delights.
We remain true to our minimalist roots in gaming, based on Sega consoles and arcade classics, allowing players to discover new techniques and power-ups and improve their skills with each new playthrough. I decided to encourage them to do so.
Here are six features, tricks and options you may not know about, along with a teaser of what’s to come.
you are a magnet
The game will push your body and mind to the limit, but subtle features can help when you or the ball feels cornered. Moving sideways can pull the ball in that direction, even from a distance, so you can move it from behind a block, for example.
you have power
look at your racket The racket gradually fills up with each successive ball hit. Once full, use the racket hand trigger (R2 by default) to activate the power smash. Press and hold while hitting the ball to run.
left, right, it doesn’t matter
Whether you’re left-handed, right-handed, or just want a little change, you can easily switch racket hands in the menu. Note that you can also decide which hand the lateral movement stick is assigned to.
space commander
Lateral movement is your friend. Feel the fluidity moving from side to side, even when the ball is not in play. You’ll feel like you’re dancing in no time, and you’ll be able to catch balls that you previously thought were out of reach.
rogue one
The single-player Journey map adds a unique rogue-like progression to the futuristic sports game. Choose your own path through space and hop from orbit to orbit. Paths are randomly generated with each new playthrough. Along the way you’ll discover new power-ups, such as launchers.
sit and stand
We hope you enjoy C-Smash VRS. Prefer to sit and play? Do you have a small playground? please do not worry. Your height will be adjusted for other players. Also, the squat button will allow you to reach low balls.
expand the universe
C-Smash VRS still has a lot to discover, and like the universe itself, the game will continue to grow in the coming weeks.
