The open beta test for Capcom’s upcoming dino shooter Exoprimal definitely wasn’t really the right time. (opens in new tab) is in progress.Beta test available at vapor (opens in new tab)went live last night and is set to run until 5pm PDT on March 20th.
The Exoprimal Open Beta will support cross-platform play with a variety of maps, modes, and missions, giving players the chance to try out all ten armor suits coming to the game at launch. Capcom said the content included in the beta is “only part of the full retail content” and reminded everyone that this is actually a test, so technical issues may occur. It reminded me.
“Since this game is still in development, we cannot guarantee a stable gameplay experience.” open beta page (opens in new tab) I warn you. “Thank you for your understanding on this matter.”
Capcom also very much wants Exoprimal beta participants to complete a survey about their experience with the game. To encourage participation (and honestly, who wants to fill out a survey?), we’re giving all participants bonus in-game rewards on full release.

Most of us know that we have another beta test going on this weekend. (opens in new tab), which will start today (in fact, when I’m publishing this) and run until Sunday. It will be interesting to see how that changes: Exoprimal will be easily overshadowed by Diablo 4 when it comes to media coverage. (opens in new tab)but they’re very different games, so let’s hope the Exoprimal test isn’t completely blown out of the water.
Exoprimal is set to release on July 14th, over a month after Diablo 4 released on June 6th.
