A regulatory report released last week announced that “work to define a new framework for Project Sirius” had been completed, resulting in the reversal of some of the financial losses. Got fired from the molasses flood yesterday. It’s not so much fun to update your bio this time. The work I did until the last day was fun, so I would like to continue. If anyone has any clues about the story and clues/or technical design positions, I’d be happy to take a look.May 12, 2023
It’s a shame you got fired from Molasses Flood. I am now looking for new opportunities. If you know of a friendly and fun studio working on a stylized game and in need of an environment artist, let us know! https://t.co/WG9fyS3hBVhttps://t.co/PQ9eJBRLa5May 12, 2023
Yesterday was my last day at The Molasses Flood due to layoffs. I’ve worked with some of the best people on a multiplayer witcher title that I’m very proud of. If anyone needs a senior world builder or environment artist, let us know. https://t.co/BKlCYqEmYzpic.twitter.com/YH6qEUV7v8May 12, 2023
CD Projekt declined to comment further, but laying off 29 employees could be a huge blow to the development team. Sirius had more than 60 of his staff working on it when it was announced last year, and there’s no way of knowing how much the team has grown since then, but the short time between announcement and stranding meant there wasn’t much to the expansion. It didn’t take long. Business-focused social media platform LinkedIn (opens in new tab) Currently, The Molasses Flood is listed as having between 11 and 50 employees.
