Building a perfect control scheme

“Getting the controller layout in place required a lot of playtesting and iterations on what we felt needed to be there,” says Fedorchuk. “We thought a lot about the actions players would take most often, and set up different types of units to have the most frequently used actions readily available. UI improvements
Last but not least, Relic has reworked the game’s user interface to make it more comfortable for console players who prefer to use a controller.

Instead, the player can use the left trigger to quickly pull up on the command wheel and push the thumbstick in the appropriate direction.
