Cyberpunk Edgerunners Mission Kit A new boxed starter set for the Cyberpunk Red game engine. R. Tarsolian said in Monday’s news release that it will include “important rules and lore about Dark Future, Night City, Edgerunner Team, and more.” No release date or price has been announced.
What’s interesting here for tabletop fans is that the original cyberpunk red and the Cyberpunk Red: Jumpstart Kit — and all material published after that — takes place in 2045. Edgerunners Mission Kit Fans are therefore the first to foray into the same kind of technology and fiction found in video games.

Does that mean R. Tarsolian leaves the world of 2045? Absolutely not, a company spokesperson told his Polygon. A 2077-themed sourcebook is also in the pipeline, while the 2045 timeline will continue to be supported with additional content going forward.
