We may be heroes… later this year.
Australian development studio Spitfire Interactive has been working on Capes, a superhero turn-based RPG, but it’s PC-only. They are now partnering with Daedalic Entertainment, who he announced capes will also release on consoles in 2023.
Gamers of a certain age may remember playing Freedom Force, which revolves around a team of superheroes in tactical RPG combat. However, while that game used real-time tactics, Capes will be turn-based.
It was also much more sunnier, with Jack Kirby-inspired visuals. Cape takes a more modern “brooding” approach to its design and story.
