Deathloop PS5 A major content update to coincide with the game’s Xbox release one year after launch. Now that the PS5 console’s exclusivity has ended, fans on all platforms can enjoy a ‘Golden Loop’ update that links through new cross-play features and adds new abilities, new weapons, new enemies, new upgrades and more. Deathloop PS5 Goldenloop Update Details
- Crossplay: Allows PvP matchmaking on all platforms. You can turn crossplay on or off in the cross-platform matchmaking settings.
- Fugue Ability: Described as “a projectile that slows, disorients, and temporarily renders the target harmless (and tipsy).” Fugue includes the following upgrades:
- Coda: Duration Extension
- Earworm: Throws fugue “mines” on surfaces
- Discord: Target becomes hostile towards allies
- Syncopation: Fugue affects nearby enemies when target dies
- Halps Prototype Weapon: A new energy-based rifle with a laser-like beam that fires continuously.
- Paint Bomber Enemies: These new enemies “wear a bandolier of explosives filled with paint and are fun to ignite while sprinting.”
- New Ability Upgrades for Juliana’s Masquerade: Juliana’s Masquerade has four upgrade options:
- Ensemble: Target up to 3 NPCs in Masquerade
- Repair: Restore health while using Masquerade on NPCs
- Expose: Colt is automatically tagged when an NPC affected by Masquerade dies or discovers Colt
- Incognito: Converts damage taken while using Masquerade into energy
- New 2-in-1 Trinket: Combine the features of two existing trinkets to free up space on your Gear.
