When is the Festival of Friendship at Disney’s Dreamlight Valley updated?
Casita, Olaf, and Mirabel are coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley! February 16, 2023.
Previous updates were released at 9am. The meaning in other timezones is:
- PST: Thursday, February 16 06:00
- GMT: Thursday 16 February 14:00
- CET: Thursday 16 February at 15:00
- JST: Thursday, February 16, 23:00
- AEST: Friday, February 17, 00:00

What’s included in the Festival of Friendship Update at Disney’s Dreamlight Valley?
Here’s everything confirmed so far.
new character
- Mirabelle (Encanto)
- Olaf (Frozen)
It’s not yet clear how to unlock these two, but we do know that Mirabelle’s quest requires finding the doorknob to the Casita. It’s unclear if this unlocks a new realm, or if it’s somewhere in an already existing town.
However, here’s a sneak peek of Olaf:
new house
We know Casita is a big part of this update. Mirabelle lives there. Some fans are starting to speculate that Bruno might also be making an appearance somewhere…but we’re not talking about that!
If Olaf does get a house of his own, it will most likely have to do with new content in Frost Heights…or he’ll be sleeping in with Elsa for the time being.
“Discover the secrets of the Frost Heights biome”
As announced in the roadmap, the Frosted Heights biome will be the next biome to transform after activating the Sunlit Plateau in the Scar’s Kingdom update.
Looking at the key art for the update, it looks like it will modify the Pillars within Frosted Heights to allow access to a secret area behind a giant stone door.
New Disney 100th Anniversary Star Pass
We already knew that February’s Star Pass would be Disney’s 100th anniversary-themed, but the full Star Pass breakdown is coming soon. Until then, we know it will include:
- 100th Anniversary Rabbit Companion
- Mickey’s 100th anniversary costume
- Minnie’s 100th Anniversary Outfit
Also, the black and white ears worn by the character in the key art don’t exist in the game yet, so we can assume they are part of the Star Pass.
