It’s unclear how all this equipment will be obtained, but it will likely be a combination of premium DLC and in-game events. Techland also covered The Walking Dead crossover on stream Celebrate the “Good Night, Good Luck” update, which changes how nighttime gameplay and parkour mechanics work. Lead level designer Piotr Paulaczyk said the crossover will appear during the Summer of Horrors event, when the game is in progress, and evoked hints showing The Walking Dead crossover at the team’s Summer Game Fest spot. He even said that Michonne’s katana and Negan’s bat would be in the game, but didn’t say more.
