Following the cancellation of this year’s event, the future of E3 was uncertain. Shows like the Summer Game Fest popped up in its place. This meant that E3 did not hold exclusive rights to the video game. That said, next year’s show is confirmed! Here are the E3 2023 dates to add to your calendar:
E3 2023 dates confirmed
E3 2023 runs from June 13th to 16th.
June 13-15 will be ‘Business Days’ highlighting industry professionals, while ‘Gamer Days’ June 15-16 will be open to the public.
Business Day welcomes developers, publishers, distributors, and gaming media to do their work. Pros will definitely be happy to hear this, as fending off the public can put an additional strain on an already stressful work environment.
Gamer Days will be enhanced with “magnificent booths” and “dedicated theater with deep dives into highly anticipated titles.”
The four days of E3 officially kick off on June 13th, but co-branded digital events and showcases will precede the show, which kicks off on June 11th.
It was already announced that ReedPop, best known as the company behind PAX and Comic Con, would take over. Back in July, he announced that next year’s E3 would be “his week of giant AAA announcements” and “earth-shaking world premieres.” Hope it lives up to the hype!
