Will Streetpass continue to work?
It seems that the world of expositions still has life, and the gaming industry is well suited for it. The Entertainment Software Association and veteran event production company Reed Pop have announced that they will work together to bring the E32023 to the Los Angeles Convention Center in the second week of June 2023.
ReedPop is behind shows such as PAX, New York Comic Con and Star Wars Celebration. So if you’re wondering if they’re working, they look like they’re doing so. The announcement promises that “E3 2023 welcomes publishers, developers, journalists, content creators, manufacturers, buyers and licensors.” Are fans / consumers left behind? Not perfect. The event will feature face-to-face components as well as digital showcases. But while the announcement reaches you, ESA and ReedPop expect to include “… the world premiere revealed by Titanic AAA, and the exclusive access to the future of video games.”
Kyle Marsden-Kish, Game Global VP of ReedPop, explains what that means: The E3 2023 will be recognizable and spectacular. It returns to respecting what was always working, reshaping what wasn’t working, and setting a new benchmark for the Video Game Expo after 2023. “
So, I don’t have any specific details yet, but it’s exciting to see how this is put together. It’s also interesting to see which game developers and publishers will be attending. The gaming industry (as in most cases) is moving to cheaper, more targeted digital announcements such as Nintendo Direct. But while it works for companies like Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft, small businesses don’t get the highlights that big companies can. Moreover, the excitement and buzz of face-to-face events where many companies are trying to outperform each other in both products and presentations cannot be denied.
Media registration for E3 2023 is currently scheduled to begin in late 2022. We encourage you to follow E3 as confirmed exhibitors, hotels and travel guides, event schedules, etc. will be shared in the coming months. twitter, Facebook, Or keep track of things on Instagram. Of course, we will continue to post you too.
