If you think a single playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom of Tears is impressive, series producer Eiji Aonuma recently revealed that he’s already beaten the game “about 20 times.”
In Part 5 of Nintendo’s Latest “Ask the Developers” SeriesAonuma said he had to rush ahead to complete the main story “from start to finish” when testing the game. However, his advice is to take your time and don’t just rush to the ending.
According to the sound, some of his more enjoyable play took place when investigating “side streets” and making his own discoveries along the way. And if you’re wondering how Aonuma felt after completing new entries “many times,” he claims he was never bored.
Aonuma is in good company, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai announced earlier today that he’s also completed the Tears of the Kingdom main adventure and confirmed that he’ll defeat the “final boss.” He had to listen to the cat meow and deal with it at the same time… Here’s a rough translation (via Google):
“I just finished Zelda…While I was being attacked by the final boss, a cat attacked me at my feet.”
