Inspired by games like Kirby and Mega Man, Biomorph allows you to eat deadly monsters, take shape, and use their powers to defeat other smaller monsters. Their powers are also the driving force behind parts of Metroidvania, as their abilities help access new realms. Each creature that commits identity theft returns with a brand new power, even stronger than before.
The story is about rebuilding the city of Brightmoor, getting to know its people, and learning more about the city’s past and your own.
A true Metroidvania-style biomorph contains dozens of secrets, upgrades, weapons and skills that can be unlocked as the game progresses, allowing players to choose their own fighting style and easily switch between builds can do.
Biomorph is created by Lucid Dreams, a Quebec-based studio made up of a team of gaming industry veterans. far cry, deus ex, thief, and Life is Strange. Their debut game was Legends of Ethernal, which he came to Switch in 2020.
The game is set to release on PC, consoles and Nintendo Switch in 2023.
