Hello everyone! Since the launch of slime rancher 2 Coming to Game Preview on Xbox Series X|S and Windows 10/11, Monomi Park has worked hard to expand Rainbow Island and the wiggly roster of residents who call it home. Today we are excited to bring you his first major content update, Song of the Sabers.
Your adventure begins when Beatrix LeBeau discovers a mysterious glacier off the coast of the Ember Valley known as Powderfall Bluffs. As if it were a giant ice time capsule, this new biome is home to a thriving community of prehistoric Saber his slimes and Thundercrack his chickens, along with new resources for crafting and the strange Aurora his Anomalies are scattered throughout the zone.

Experience the beauty of Rainbow Island like never before, with pillow-white snow on all sides. However, staying long is prohibited. This snowy sanctuary is home to saber slimes, ferocious blasts from the past. Thought to be extinct long ago, these prehistoric predators now stalk Thundercrack’s chickens in the snowdrifts of Powderfall Bluffs.

Start icy dust-up anywhere with the Snowball Machine or capture the winter vibes with his giant Snowglobe. Powderfall Bluffs offers many new rewards for those who can gather valuable resources from the frigid mountain peaks.

Slimes love playing in the snow and won’t hesitate to start a snowball fight with you or other slimes! Throw snowballs at them and they will throw snowballs back at you and at each other. Hmm, maybe I should have added a “duck” button…
