Pre-order Final Fantasy 16. It will reportedly go live in December, well ahead of the PS5 game’s expected summer 2023 release. He claims to have heard that, which probably coincides with the announcement at The Game Awards 2022.
Final Fantasy 16 pre-orders will reportedly come with a new trailer
According to Henderson’s sources, Square Enix will be releasing a new trailer along with the pre-order announcement, which is set to go live on December 8th or 9th. The Game Awards 2022 will take place on his Thursday, December 8th. Insiders don’t know if the announcement will take place during TGA or if Sony/Square Enix are planning another announcement.

I wouldn’t expect the PlayStation State of Play or Square Enix showcases to happen around the same time as The Game Awards, which is one of the biggest events of the year and more than any other showcase. It gets smaller. But Sony has been randomly dropping news via the PlayStation Blog lately, so you’ll never know.
