Price at launch: $16.14 |£12.79 |AU$22.90
Lucy Dreaming is a point-and-click adventure described as “a brilliant British comedy”. It follows Lucy as she explores the small “desolate” town of Figginton, chatting with its interesting residents and investigating the town’s mysteries. But Figginton isn’t the only place she explores. Because it also gets inside Lucy’s head. Even more so to find out the truth about some of the creepy nightmares she’s been experiencing. This is a very puzzle-oriented affair, so we’re lucky that the pixel art is so detailed and varied, from small-town hustle and bustle to the surreal. It’s worth noting that the voice actors behind the are involved in this.

You also need to manage the types of conflicts. We share vehicles for days. But don’t worry. If you play your cards correctly, you win a date.
Faith: Unholy Trinity
Steam page (opens in new tab)
Release: October 22nd
Developer: Airdorf Games
Price at launch: $13.49 |£10.25 |AU$19.35
Faith is a spooky 8-bit style horror game with two chapters since 2017.to praise Anheimlich, the minimal art style is a very promising narrative setting. You play as a priest in a desolate rural area tasked with exorcising a demon-possessed place. You are not limited to one home. Expect to explore churches, forests, and more. The past five years have seen a healthy flowering of indie horror games that take a traditional approach to setting the mood.
Fhtagn Simulator
Steam page (opens in new tab)
Release: October 21st
Developer: Kingan Workshop
Price at launch: $7.19 | £5.21 | $10.35 AUD
Publisher INDIECN describes Fhtagn Simulator as a “Cthulhu roulette deck builder”, though it’s perhaps more useful to describe it as a clone of Slay the Spire. I’m not complaining, especially given that, in light of Fhtagn Simulator’s brilliant art style, it has a strong occult vibe that doesn’t resemble Faith above. Admittedly, that’s probably the biggest selling point here: another fun and more roguelite deckbuilder, but with an art style that’s not boring to look at (sorry, Slay the Spire and Monster Train).
robot resistor

Speaking of clones, another game that follows in the footsteps of vampire survivors. However, there are differences. The list goes on and includes individual procedurally generated level biomes with “different moods and purposes”. Robot Resistors is in early access, and between now and he mid-2023, new characters, weapons, new stages, upgrades, and more will be added to the game.
