Universal Pictures has announced that the ‘Five Nights at Freddy’ movie will be released in October. That teaser trailer gives us every hope we can look forward to.
After repeated delays and cancellations, five nights at freddy movies will finally hit theaters and Peacock’s streaming service on October 27th this year. Series creator Scott Cawthorne has retired from making new games, but he’s credited as a producer and writer, and the teaser trailer is fantastic.
‘Five Nights at Freddy’ teaser trailer
Co-produced by Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions and directed by Emma Tami of The Wind, Five Nights at Freddy stars Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games) as Freddy. He plays a troubled security guard who works at Fazbear’s Pizza. But during his first night on the job, he realized things weren’t as easy as he first thought.
If I hadn’t blinked at a particular moment, I might have spotted a great Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo, Scream, Good Girls) in one scene. Joining Hutcherson and Lillard are Elizabeth Lail (“You Mac & Rita”), Piper Rubio (“Holly & Ivy”, “Unstable”) and Kat Connor Sterling (“We Have a Ghost”) and Mary Stuart Masterson (“Blindspot”).
