in a long statement about redditlamented Corson leak, said he was at the park with his kids when he started getting emails and messages about the video. He reminded fans that the film’s production team worked hard on the project and that it would be “frustrating” to ruin it like this.
That said, Cawthon was surprised that many of the game’s fans and YouTubers criticized him for refusing to share the leak, and he appreciates their backlash.
“It’s really hard, if not impossible, to prevent people from trying to screw things up for others, but it’s really encouraging to see the fanbase unite against it. “It’s done,” Cawthon writes.
