Hello PlayStation player! Exciting news directly from the goat’s mouth, Goat Simulator 3 has a release date! Pilgo and his companions will hit PlayStation 5 on November 17th.
I’ve heard that many people are confused by the name of our game, Goat Simulator 3. Here at CoffeeStainPublishing, I wanted to correct the record and answer the question why it’s called Goat Simulator “3” … Unfortunately, the creator of the game, CoffeeStainNorth, couldn’t get a direct answer from a friend. .. This isn’t surprising at all, as they are a bit of a weird bunch.
But in the spirit of transparency, and as you asked, this is what we were told by various members of the team, we let you decide what to think.
- “There were three goats in Box Art” – Community Manager and Cinematographer Rasmus Björk
- “Wait? Didn’t you create Goat Simulator 2?” – Olivia Follin, Programmer
- “It’s been a long time since Goat Simulator 1 was announced, and Goat Simulator 2 as the title didn’t encapsulate all the advances in the simulation technology we implemented.” – Game Producer Sebastian Zethraeus
- “No one likes the sequel” – Designer Driton Gashi
- “Baaaaaaaaa” – Pilgor
- “There was a reason … but I forgot.” – 3D artist Philip Bretschneider
- “We didn’t want to fix them because someone on the publishing team said that.” – Judith Radnitz, Game Producer
- “God of War: Lagunarok has already been filmed” – Creative Director Santiago Ferrero
- “It would have been weird to call it Goat Sim 4” – Art Director and Level Designer William Bergerson
- “It’s still a typo” – Community Manager Helena Lindström
- “What do Mason numbers mean?” – Stuart Docherty, Sound Designer
- “None of the above” – CEO Sebastian Ericsson
- “Pilgor does what Gordon doesn’t do” – Joar Hedvall, programmer
What we know is that Goat Simulator 3 will be officially released on November 17th. Here you can pre-order the standard version on your PlayStation 5 and experience the awkward “pre-breast” surprise or choose the digital downgrade version that comes with a selection. Of remastered items from the goat simulator.
We have also unveiled a special collector, the Goat In A Box Edition (currently available for pre-order only in the EU and ANZ regions) for the ultimate goat lover. Book now and hope that someday it’s worth it to hug a little Pilgor toy in the attic or keep it pristine (warning: it won’t).
Again sorry for the lack of clarity, but to make up for that, I have some new exclusive screenshots from the game, hoping you forgive us.
Be proactive in asserting your own personal style in any situation.
If you feel the need for speed, Goat Simulator 3 will help.
