This is just a guess, but the first God of War game was War God RagnarokLucky for me the devs were anticipating players who hadn’t already played god of war (2018).When I start Ragnarok At the top of the main menu, god of war Summarize.
At first I thought it would help someone like me get in Ragnarok Knowing with confidence what happened in the previous game and what to expect in this game. But after watching it I’m sure it’s really aimed at people who haven’t played god of war For a short time. That’s because the minute-and-a-half video jumps incoherently from scene to scene, delivered without any context or an actual direct plot summary of the first game. I don’t know what happened even when I saw it.So I decided it would be interesting to write an article about what I think happened god of war Based on the official summary of Ragnarokmain menu.
Let’s get started.
There is a big, strong bearded man named Kratos and a little kid named Atreus. Surprisingly, I already knew who they were, so at least I can understand this much. The game begins because Atreus’ mother has died and he and his father want to scatter her ashes on top of a mountain.
A random woman says this area is the realm of the gods, so it seems like a pretty difficult task. I think there’s a reason why people want to go there. Kratos tells someone that he is a god. But I don’t know if it was addressed to Atreus or to this woman, Freyja. I think she’s Freya because the summary shows that she uses magical powers that allow her to grow plants, and mentions that she’s the leader of the Vanir.
Kratos cuts off the head of a man named Mimir and immediately presents it to that of a giant dragon. Mimir says that Kratos killed Odin’s children, but I think Odin is a god. Kratos then goesssips a little bit about himself: he seems to have chosen to be a man, but he was actually a god. So I don’t know if he’s a god, a human, or just a strong human.
Atreus knows he is a god. He says he’s a giant, but he looks normal height to me. So Atreus assumes he can do whatever he wants as a god and goes to kill another god. (This god doesn’t appear to fight a child.) Kratos looks very upset. For he cries out and tells Atreus that killing a god will have consequences.
At this point, the story gets even more dramatic. Another man named Baldur appears in the picture. He doesn’t seem to like Kratos or Freya. And I’m assuming that Kratos and Freya have linked up again, so I’m assuming Freya is playing the role of a guide to Kratos. I’m not really sure why he’s mad, but maybe it’s because Atreus literally killed a god. Meanwhile, Freya mourns the death of Balder and calls him her boy, so I’m assuming it’s her son.
Atreus then says someone called him Loki, and he asks about it. He deflects Atreus’ question. Loki is a pretty important Marvel character, so I think Atreus is a special god rather than just a god.
In the end, it seems to have served its purpose of scattering the ashes, as it is high in the clouds and appears to be a little more at peace. (Again, I’d love to know why it’s important.) The summary doesn’t say whether Atreus is directly related to Kratos, but this seems very important. All in all, there seems to be a lot of unresolved plot points to be developed in the first game. RagnarokThe summary wasn’t amazing, but what do you know? I’ve stopped searching the wiki for additional background information.
