After announcing a four-player co-op mode coming to Gotham Knights next month, Warner Bros. Montreal shared another not-so-exciting piece of news. The game runs at 30 frames per second on the console without the performance mode option.
The announcement was made by the game’s Executive Producer, Fleur Marty, via the official Gotham Knights Discord server. She confirmed that the game doesn’t offer an option to switch between a high quality graphics mode and a performance mode that boosts the frame rate.
“There are so many features in our game, like offering fully untethered co-op in a highly detailed open world, that it’s not as simple as lowering the resolution and increasing the frame rate,” Marty said. I am writing. Marty went on to confirm that Gotham Knights “has no option to toggle performance/quality” and that “on consoles he runs at 30 FPS.”
The news follows the confirmation of a four-player co-op mode called Heroic Assault, which will be added to the game for free on November 29th. Join his two-player co-op story mode of the game.
Gotham Knights launches October 21st for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
