343 Industries head and founder Bonnie Ross has announced that he is leaving the studio.
“While I was hoping to stay on Halo until the Winter Update was released, I am announcing that I am leaving 343 to take care of a family member’s medical issues,” Ross said in a statement on Twitter.
She continued, “Everyone at 343 Industries is extremely proud of the work they’ve done on Halo Infinite, the Master Chief Collection, the Halo TV series, and more. Over the past 15 years, I’ve spent the past 15 years serving alongside the team and working with the world I love.” I am honored to have been a part of it.”

and Statement to Windows CentralAccording to Microsoft, head of production Pierre Hinze will soon take over as head of the studio in Ross’ place. command the Brian Koski will become general manager of the franchise, with Ellisbeth Van Wyck responsible for operations and operations.
Ross has been with Microsoft for the past 28 years, 15 of those years leading 343 industries. She has worked on numerous of her Halo games including Halo 4, Halo 5: Guardians, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Halo Infinite.
343 Industries is currently working on a winter update for Halo Infinite. It releases on his November 8th and brings the long-awaited Forge mode and online co-op features for the campaign. Unfortunately, the split-screen co-op feature has been cancelled.
