The Halo Infinite Forge mode has proven to be more useful for the game than expected. It was recently revealed that his fan-made Forge mode, called Digletts (yes, like Pokemon), is extremely useful in helping the development team.
according to Kotaku, 343 Industries community manager John Junyszek recently published a tweet asking fans what their favorite Forge game was. Competitive Halo player Linz responded with his Digletts, and Junyszek revealed that the mode would help teams with shot registration and “latency and networking.”
Fun fact! This mini-game recently helped the team further test and explore different shot registration situations, especially with regards to latency and networks. It’s a curated environment that doesn’t have a lot of variables, so it helped me investigate certain scenarios. https://t.co/M9mS7SeNux

In Diglett’s minigame, the player is dropped into a hole in the ground, unable to escape, and has only a sniper rifle surrounded by other players. When they stand up and peek through the hole, they leave only their heads exposed so other players can shoot them in the head.
