destiny 2the latest developments in light fall, which means it’s less than a month away and it’s time for Bungie to show off some of the loot players are looking forward to. The game’s latest trailer gives players a first look at some of the expansion’s new weapons and armor, as well as some exotics and their effects.
The trailer mostly focuses on the Strands and Exotics associated with this new and mysterious power. Strand power comes with both armor and weapons, also called tangles. This allows players to “use the strands to weave objects and creatures, or for other purposes associated with weapons.”
In addition to these new Strand Exotics, the trailer also includes a Quicksilver Storm Catalyst upgrade that allows you to create Strand tangles and throw them at your enemies with Exotic Auto Rifle grenade kills.Quicksilver is available in all pre-ordered layers light fallis scheduled to be released on February 28.
Below is a list of all the new weapons and armor shown in Lightfall’s latest trailer.
- final warning – This strand sidearm fires a tracking projectile that seeks out nearby enemies.
- deterministic chaos – Void Machine Gun that rhythmically weakens enemies.
- winter byte – Stasis Exotic Glaive freezes enemies with a Frost Orb impact, leaving them vulnerable to follow-up attacks.
- Facade of Sirtarakne – This exotic helmet provides additional protection as hunters gain armor and flinch resistance when meleeing.
- Aveant Leap – When a Titan uses Barricade with this exotic leg armor, it spawns for a projectile that suspends enemies and grants armor to the wearer.
- swarmer – This new Exotic leg armor allows Warlocks to create Thread Rings to infiltrate and attack enemies after destroying the Tangle.
