Avalanche Software has brought some bad news to those who have been waiting. Hogwarts Legacy DLCThe studio has said it has no plans to release additional content at this time, but the good news is that DLC doesn’t seem entirely out of the question.
Hogwarts Legacy DLC may finally be released
“We’ve really put our heads down [Hogwarts Legacy] to life,” said game director Alan Tew IGN“Therefore, at this time, there are no current plans for DLC.”
This statement does not completely rule out the possibility of DLC. Apparently, Avalanche Studio is still busy working on its launch window, which includes updates and patches, implying that they haven’t had time to consider expanding Hogwarts Legacy. Additionally, the game has yet to be released on PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch. This probably means that there is still quite a bit of work to do.
Only time will tell if we finally get the Hogwarts Legacy DLC/expansion, but given the game’s success and fan reaction, I’d be surprised if additional content isn’t released.
Fans are already talking about a sequel to Hogwarts Legacy, given the sales milestones it’s already starting to hit.
