To update a PS5 controller using a PC, users should:

1. First, get the official firmware updater. here.
2. Then follow the instructions to install the firmware updater.
3. Launch Fireware Updater.
4. When prompted, connect your PS5 controller using a USB cable. (Note: Do not remove the controller during the update process.)
5. A message is displayed when the update is complete. Press “OK”.
6. Your PS5 controller will be fully updated to the latest version.
