Ascendant Studio Latest blog post Immortal of Aveum’s protagonist, Jak, is a Triarch Magus, a rare type of Magni who can wield all three spell types: Red Chaos, Blue Force, and Green Life Magic, rather than just one type like the traditional Magni. understand. Jack’s ability to wield many forms of magic means he can customize his abilities to his liking by focusing on one color or mixing all three to create combo effects. I mean
The main spells we use are sigils, which focus their magic on different functions depending on the type of color we’re using. Red sigils focus on explosive melee attacks, blue sigils are intended for accurate long-range attacks, and green sigils are used for rapid fire and maneuver combat. You can switch sigils on the fly, so you can use the appropriate spell depending on the situation at hand.
Like Sigils, Strikes also focus on spell colors, except that they are the main offensive spells and can be weaved into combos with fury and control spells. Strike offers her three spells for each magic color, offering things like her homing missile salvo and long-range magic bolts. Fury is a powerful ability that can destroy enemies, but requires a replenishable resource known as Fury Her Mana. It can be found in treasure chests and mana crystals of dead enemies, and can also be regenerated over time through skills. As for control spells, as the name suggests, they are used to manipulate the world and enemies by harnessing magic totems, providing a way to slow down or stun enemies. Finally, a selection of augment spells gives you the ability to interact with the world itself, such as hovering across gaps or leaping vast distances. If you want more firepower, look no further than Jack’s Dominion spell, Immolate. This is an ultimate ability that “smashes enemy forces to the ground” and is naturally charged as you play.
Customization is an important part of Immortals of Aveum and takes place in the forge located in the game’s three hub locations. The world has 12 biomes to explore, offering ways to upgrade your spells and equipment, as well as reassign your talent points. With “hundreds of unique items,” everyone should find a build that fits their playstyle.
Immortals of Aveum was slated to launch on July 20th, but Ascendant Studios announced last August that the team could “further polish the game, complete optimizations for all platforms, and deliver a strong launch.” The launch was postponed to the 20th.
