Japanese Charts: Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion Makes A Strong First Impression

The latest Japanese boxed charts are here (a little late this week). The top two spots haven’t changed, with Pokemon Scarlet and Sumire and Splatoon 3 sitting comfortably in their normal positions. Don’t be surprised if we haven’t hit that milestone yet.

Crisis Core – Final Fantasy VII – Reunion debuted, taking 3rd, 4th and 5th place respectively on PS5, PS4 and Switch versions. Combining sales across all three platforms, the game sold a total of 156,530 units. That’s a pretty impressive number for a spin-off title.

Elsewhere, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has sold 5 million units, bringing the current total closer to 4,972,488, while Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is hanging at number 10 on the charts, selling 15,060 units this week. to make up for the continuing total of 46,173.

Hardware sales this week don’t come as a big surprise for the Switch, but the PS5 jumped in sales significantly to take second place. Think about the Xbox Series X, too. This week he ranked 10th. 35 units.
