Welcome to the latest in the Koopa Kast podcast series! This week Trev and Jem talk all about Kirby. It’s all about Kirby’s Dream Land, to be precise. It’s the first of his trilogy that started on the Game Boy and ended on the SNES.
Koopa Kast 124 – Kirby’s Dreamland Trilogy
This game series consists of three original titles that debuted on the Game Boy in 1992.
Kirby’s Dreamland 2 followed in 1995, also for the classic grayscale handheld system. Kirby’s Dream Land 3 concludes the trilogy, coming out in 1997 on the aging Super Nintendo system.
Kirby has appeared in many titles over the years and in all manner of spin-offs, including his latest outing, Kirby’s Dream Buffet. Deluxe Return to Kirby’s Dreamland comes to Nintendo Switch in 2023, now is the perfect time to revisit the classic entry that helped cement Kirby’s popularity.
During the show, Trev and Gem talk about their memories of the game, including their favorite moves and their animal friends. It must be a hamster, right?
