More than five years after it first hit consoles and PC, Little Nightmares is coming to mobile. Developer Tarsier Studios made the announcement as part of his Swipe Showcase for GameSpot’s first, revealing that his Android and iOS versions of the horror-adventure game will be released later this year.
Set in a spooky and mysterious world, Little Nightmares follows a young girl named Six as she navigates a ship filled with freakish horrors. All the while, Six must contend with a ravenous hunger that is taking over her body, leading to some pretty terrifying situations. But its content is decidedly more disturbing than fairy tales. Little Nightmares explores terror through the eyes of children and emphasizes children’s helplessness through “hide-and-seek” style gameplay rather than allowing players to engage in combat.
at the game spot review Of Little Nightmares, we praised the game for its “haunting narrative,” “tense cat-and-mouse-style chase,” and “appealing visual and audio design.” However, there were some criticisms due to the game’s short length.
Thankfully, 3 DLC updates were released between 2017 and 2018. The Depths, The Hideaway, and The Residence are all extensions of Little Nightmare’s original story, and best of all, all three are mobile versions of the game.
