Speaking of keys, the caps are laser-etched for long-term durability. In terms of mechanics, you get a ‘blue axis’ click switch with 3mm keystroke, 45g actuation force and 1.2mm actuation point.
Inside is a 1,000mAh battery with a run time of 240 hours and a charge time of 2 hours. Wireless connectivity comes in the form of Bluetooth 5.0 and has a range of approximately 8 meters.
There’s a USB-C port for charging, but the only real connection is the wireless interface. For the record, this is a full QWERTY plus number pad keyboard using US English layout. Oh, and the wooden palm rest is $85. ah.
Oiling wood can be a little disappointing. The board surface is protected with urethane coating, so regular maintenance is not required. disappointing.
