Start your engine! Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: The AU/NZ Summer Grand Prix is ââcoming to an Australian Switch near you later this month.
The Summer Grand Prix â yes, it’s summer in the Southern Hemisphere â starts the weekend of Saturday, January 14th. Earn up to 150 My Nintendo Platinum Points and win some exclusive prizes just for participating during the event.
The prize pool has several categories starting with the top 10 players each day. Each of these competitive people wins:
- 1x Commemorative Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: AU/NZ Summer Grand Prix 3 Pin Set
- 1x Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: AU/NZ Grand Prix Tote Bag
- 1x Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: AU/NZ Grand Prix Mug

Additionally, 40 randomly selected players each weekend will receive one of two randomly selected prize packs:

Scores reset at the end of each day, giving you 3 chances to win. Also note that one player can only win one prize, he. For example, if a player finishes in the Top 10 on Day 1 and the same player finishes in the Top 10 for the remainder of the event, he will only be eligible for the Top 10 prize once. In this case, the next eligible player on the leaderboard will be declared the winner of that tournament. This way everyone has a shot! Check Official Rules For all the details.
