Sony’s current deal with Activision isn’t set to expire until 2025, and it seems likely that the new deal will continue for at least the rest of the PS5’s lifespan. Microosft has long argued that it doesn’t make financial sense to make the series exclusive, as its games generate billions of dollars in revenue on competing platforms.
Microsoft declined to comment. Sony did not immediately respond.
