Just a few weeks ago, we reported on a familiar game with a dubious title that reminded us of Mini Metro from the Dinosaur Polo Club. That game, Mini Subway: Logic on the Metro Line, hit the eShop, and fans of his addictive 2018 puzzle game quickly noticed the similarities.
now, Nintendo reports that counterfeit products have been removed from the eShop. Dinosaur Polo Club said when he spoke to Eurogamer about the matter, “We always try to contact the developer first, but we will take legal action if necessary,” thanking It seems that there has been some progress.
In an email to Go Nintendo, Stride PR’s Ryan Tatum confirmed the Mini Subway has been removed from the digital storefront, stating:
“We would like to update you that counterfeit products have been officially removed from our eShop. The team would like to thank you for your support in spreading awareness!”
It’s nice that the game is inspired by other games, but given that the game is no longer available on the eShop, it’s clear that this is a case of leaning on someone’s shoulders. I hope this sets an example for other developers who want to imitate other developers. We are so glad that the Dinosaur Polo Club can now rest in peace.
