The beta version of Street Fighter 6 was good. favorite, For real good. After the beta ended on October 10th, the few players who were able to participate in the beta wanted a way to continue playing. it actually happened. Capcom took everyone on a naughty step by deleting the game’s executable. From people’s computers.
As reported by game radar, it all started on October 14th when a mod was published that allowed users with keys to continue to access certain offline modes after the beta ended. A few additional tweaks also allowed access to training mode, but most of it was offline.
As of October 20th, Steam is currently pushing an update that removes the game’s executable. The mod is pretty much dead in the water because that was what people needed to do it. Not particularly on the board.
oh i think the cat out of the bag now the sins of the past are back… yes the sf6 beta was cracked beyond data mining, people being able to play the game offline and everything Papa Capcom has taken steps to stop it, some people, but certainly not all.October 19, 2022
It’s definitely a shame that the beta was so limited and short-lived. Many buddies applied for keys, but were left empty-handed, and many went ahead and bought keys just to play. It’s clear that Street Fighter 6 is all the rage. I’m not a big fan of 2D fighters, so I’m excited to try it. I attended a recent fighting game event and had a great time. Especially since it’s very accommodating to a player like me whose experience is mostly in his 3D fighter (and a player who can’t pull off a quarter circle to save a life) I had a great time. ).
This isn’t the first time a Street Fighter beta has been hacked. The Street Fighter 5 Beta was completely cracked, allowing anyone to download and try it out until launch. This time it was more of a mod than a crack as it still required a beta key to work.
