An early retail listing for Mortal Kombat 1 seems to have leaked DLC characters from the first Kombat Pack, including Homelander, Peacemaker, and more.
Mortal Kombat 1 launches for Xbox Series X|S on September 19th and is available for pre-order starting today. However, it looks like a retailer may have ruined one of his surprises for NetherRealm early on by leaking the DLC characters included in his first Kombat Pack.
Added fighters and cameo fighters in Mortal Kombat 1 DLC
According to Mortal Kombat 1: Premium Edition listing, Amazon Italy, the first Kombat Pack in the NetherRealm series reboot will include Quan Chi, Omni Man, Ermac and Takeda, plus the previously leaked Homelander and Peacemaker. In addition, the pack includes five cameos of his fighters, embodying a roster of his characters who will partner with him in matches to “expand gameplay possibilities.” This list is shown to include Tremer, Jean-Claude Van Damme’s Johnny Cage, Chameleon, Mavado, and Fela all.
Mortal Kombat 1 was released yesterday and is set to reboot the famous series when it comes out later this year. We can expect the return of the “genre-defining story mode” and new cameo fighter mechanics, but cross-play and cross-progression will not be available at launch.
