Boone plans to attend, but has said he will not attend The Game Awards 2022, the next major industry event. From the sound of things, whatever game NetherRealm is working on next won’t be announced any time soon.

Going by NetherRealm’s previous pattern, Injustice 3 will be next to see the light of day, but rumor has it that the studio was forced to prioritize Mortal Kombat 12. However, these rumors remain unsubstantiated and NetherRealm remains tight-lipped about what they are currently working on.
It remains to be seen if NetherRealm will release anything other than Mortal Kombat or Injustice in the near future.
