After scooping up some Bandai Namco Europe games (opens in new tab) Two weeks ago, Nvidia enlisted Capcom for its cloud gaming service, bringing in three Resident Evil games.
From today, you will be able to drop into “Resident Evil RE: 2”, “Resident Evil 3”, and “Resident Evil 7” on the game distribution service.
This is good news for those who already have GeForce Now running on their phones and TVs and own these games on Steam. GeForce Now just pulls them from your account, no need to buy them again.
Aside from Resi, one of our favorite new releases, Shadows of Doubt, will also be available to stream via GeForce Now starting today. I played a lot of demos of that game and loved it.
Here’s the full list of games coming to GeForce Now today.

Another announcement from Nvidia today is the arrival of new SuperPODS. It’s a fancy name for Nvidia installing a bunch of RTX 4080s or RTX 4080-likes in their data centers. Users with GeForce Now data centers closest to Stockholm, Miami, and Portland will have access to the highest tier of game streaming Nvidia currently offers if they have the Ultimate tier.
We tested the Ultimate Tier and called it “the best way to put an RTX 40-series GPU in your bag.” (opens in new tab)“Keep in mind that back then (this was before the cheap 40-series cards available today) there was a caveat: the occasional bug or boot issue, but It’s all about your internet connection.
In other Nvidia GeForce Now news, the UK has blocked Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard for cloud gaming reasons. Nvidia’s deal with Microsoft (opens in new tab) Bringing Activision games to streaming platforms could have gone up in smoke.
