As 2 months approach Narukaka: Blade Pointof With its explosive launch on Xbox, an all-new co-op campaign mode called Showdown is coming in-game on August 5th. Available for Xbox Series X|S, Windows 10/11 PCs, and all players with Game Pass as a free update.
Incorporating the exhilarating combat of the popular Battle Royale mode, this new mode challenges players in teams of three (trios). The player will face different challenges of varying difficulty as he is surrounded and attacked by ferocious enemies in two stages. As the difficulty increases, the trio must communicate and work together to survive and emerge victorious.
At launch, teams will have four heroes to choose from: Kurumi, Tarka, Varda, and Viper. Each is equipped with its own set of melee and ranged weapons, allowing players to utilize their various abilities to face hordes of enemies across the map.
The showdown culminates in a truly epic boss fight, with the team facing off against a formidable and challenging boss, the Omni. The person who coordinated all the evil deeds and chaos that befall the player up to this point.
Progression is an integral part of Showdown, with players battling in new game modes and being rewarded for their success. Each character can be upgraded, gifted with new equipment, and additionally with the ability to unlock new skills. As each hero builds power and skill, the team can progress towards tackling higher difficulties, earning far more impactful rewards as they do so.
