Koei Tecmo recently announced an action RPG titled Fate/Samurai Remnant, a Japanese game based on the popular Fate universe. It will be developed in collaboration with another game company, Type-Moon.

The Fate franchise is arguably one of the most popular franchises in Japanese media, with games, anime and manga based on IP. This time, it looks like we’ll be taking a closer look at the story of Fate set in medieval Japan, unlike the more modern setting found in popular media such as Fate/Zero and Fate/stay night.
