A new video game based on the Dune series could be coming soon. Dune Story, especially Frank His Herbert’s first novel, is an important piece of his science fiction work. It has heavily influenced many major films, including the even more influential Star Wars, and without Dune, there wouldn’t be many of the massive pop culture underpinnings it has today. For a long time, many mainstream audiences were unfamiliar with Dune because of how much it leaned into its fictional world. Filmed in 2021 sand dunes This helped introduce the world to being a person in a much more digestible way. Sequel in progress The gaming industry seems to want to ride that wave.

Either way, the idea of a new game set in the world of Dune is very exciting. It’s an incredibly rich world filled with unique technology, layered politics, and amazing characters. In a world as vast as this, the potential of a Dune game is obvious, and if done right it could be a blockbuster. At this time, it remains to be seen what that universe will be in the game medium.
