Gear inspired by the art direction of Forspoken

We’re excited to see how it all came together – the Forspoken logo, the added details, and the blend of various other design elements. I like how it introduces a modern side from the world of

Forspoken is an intricately designed game with lots of surprises and details, but the core concept is “modern meets fantasy”. Frey’s main story, which travels from modern to fantasy world, articulates this concept. As for the art concept, I aimed to create a completely new identity of fantastical symbolism and fuse it with contemporary sensibilities.

T-shirt logo and coin: gold as the main color

In the world of Forspoken, gold symbolizes magical power. Even in the modern age where we live, gold and magic have been deeply linked since ancient times. For example, in alchemy, magic is used to create gold. Moreover, economically speaking, gold is inherently valuable and will always be special to humans.In creating Forspoken’s universe, the main he utilized the magic of gold as his color.

This new line of t-shirts and coins allows players to bring the golden magic of Forspoken into their daily lives.

Jacket: Frey’s pants emblem

Do you know the emblem on this jacket? If so, you have good eyes! This emblem will appear on Frey’s jeans in-game. It’s a subtle detail that no one notices. An emblem with a motif of Frey’s right hand that uses magic.

Frey wears the emblem without knowing what it is while still living in modern New York City. From a design standpoint, Frey’s black jeans blend well with fantasy cloaks and belts, and this emblem on her real-life jacket is a nod to Frey’s jeans’ original home.

Pin Badge: Icon

The pin badge icon is a perfect blend of modern and fantasy. In terms of UI functionality, modern and simple icons are great, but icons should also evoke a sense of fantasy stylistically. We carefully fused these two seemingly contradictory elements to design each icon.
