A PS Plus Extra April 2025 game, which will join the catalog next week, is available for under $5 in a new PS Store sale. Battlefield 1: Revolution ā a definitive edition of sorts ā has been discounted to $4.79 in the new Spring sale refresh. The best part? Non-subscribers can grab the better version of Battlefield 1 than what appears to be joining PS Plus.
PS Plus Extra has added two fantastic games in April: the universally-acclaimed Blue Prince and fan favorite Hogwarts Legacy. But overall, the lineup is a bit scant this time around. And then, thereās Battlefield 1.
Iām a huge fan of Battlefield 1 myself, but was surprised to see its inclusion in Extra considering itās often available for a dollar and some change on the PS Store. Sony did remove the standard edition from sale today, reverting its price to $19.99, but Battlefield 1: Revolution, which includes all Premium Pass content, was just put on sale for $4.79 (88% off).
Over on the PS Blog, Iām not seeing any indication that PS Plus Extra is getting the Revolution edition, which is a bit surprising. For those not familiar with Battlefield Premium Pass, hereās what it includes:
- They Shall Not Pass (expansion)
- In the Name of the Tsar (expansion)
- Turning Tides (expansion)
- Apocalypse (expansion)
- Heroes of the Great War Bundle, which includes:
- Hellfighter Pack
- Weapon: Hellfighter Trench Shotgun
- Sidearm: Hellfighter M1911
- Melee: Hellfighter Bolo Knife
- Emblem: Hellfighter Insignia
- Red Baron Pack
- Fighter Plane Package: Red Baronās Triplane
- Sidearm: Red Baronās P08
- Emblem: Red Baronās Flyer Pin
- Lawrence of Arabia Pack
- Cavalry Visuals: Smokey Black
- Weapon: SMLE
- Melee: Jambiya Knife
- Emblem: Lawrence of Arabiaās Emblem
- Hellfighter Pack
- New visual appearance of the Behemoths in base game
- 5 x Battlefield 1 Battlepacks
Worth noting that Battlefield 1: Revolution was also enhanced for the PS4 Pro, although both the base game and Revolution edition perform well on the PS5 via backwards compatibility.
We highly recommend picking up the Revolution version while you can. The deal will end on April 24 (unless Sony notices the weird timing of the sale and pulls it).
