A new gameplay trailer for indie horror game Signalis has been unveiled ahead of its release later this month. Designed to deliver a classic horror experience, Signalis is set in a dystopian future where humanity uncovers the secrets of a dark universe and things (understandably) go horribly wrong.
A love letter to PS1-era survival-horror game classics such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill, you’ll have to conserve resources while deciding whether to flee or fight the dangers at hand.
As the engineer Elster, you must survive the psychological horrors that await you on an alien planet, face off against terrifying creatures, and solve challenging puzzles in search of answers. As she descends deeper into the planet’s facilities and mines, Elster encounters another survivor with dark plans, strange memories from another life, and terrifying bureaucratic safeguards. cassette futuristic art movement.
Signalis launches on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Switch on October 27th, and is also available on Game Pass.
If that’s not enough horror for you, the next few months seem poised to shock you with two more dives into deep-space horror. Launching December 2nd, next year you can dive into the remake of 2008’s Dead Space.
