Amazon says Thursday Night Football has been a huge success since partnering with the NFL. The game averages nearly 11 million viewers each week, and the season is only five weeks into the season. Those numbers are up nearly 50% from the 2021 Thursday Night Football telecast.

This move, combined with early season sales, could change the holiday shopping landscape. The insane influx to brick-and-mortar stores may not last very long, as deals start much earlier and there is reason to spend another day away from the store.
