The news desk has had a week off (of paid gigs) to prepare for next week, but there are still some mega items to watch this week.

Five giant bombs have been dropped next week in a busy week that already includes games from two console makers (Microsoft and Nintendo) at the same time, but there are still a few items to keep an eye on this week. The big one is Mega Man Battle Network: Legacy Collection and I haven’t figured out about splitting up the individual releases yet, but I’m looking forward to paying for his combo combo anyway and also his RPG/Detective for NIS America An adventure hybrid Process of Elimination will also be launched. A major indie title (at least big enough to warrant Direct space) is Bithell Games’ Tron: Identity.
Old school fans will have a fun week with scrolling shooter Castle of Shikigami 2 and action platformer Cannon Dancer. Horror fans, on the other hand, should be aware of Public His Domain’s duel with Sherlock Holmes, where Holmes and Cthulhu intersect. There’s also Indie World veterans Wildfrost and… Hello Kitty rhythm games from Chucklefish (Stardew Valley, Eastward).
